According to statistics in 2018, about 15% of all greenhouse gas emissions in the world are caused by the meat industry. This high percentage is due to the fact that cows and other animals are mass-produced and raised in extremely crowded spaces, where methane is formulated from belching/manure/etc. As the earth's temperatures rise, the need for positive climate change increases. Making an effort to both consume less meat and change our farming practices will help lessen our negative impact on the environment. This project aims to provide education on the topic and persuade consumers to make conscientious decisions about the act of buying and consuming meat.
